I ordered Sonya's book to read on my iPad and I finished it in 3 hours. I could not put it down.I think that Sonya is beyond brave for being able to tell her story and I believe that many women can relate to at least some of her story, but not all of us are as brave to be able to present it to the world.
I think it was a story that needed to be told and I think that many women may find some sort of strength from reading about this story and how Sonya overcame her struggles and painful experiences, to become the strong woman that she is today!

A heart wrenching story of survival, loss and hope. I couldn't put this book down! It is a story that will resonate with so many and hopefully will give hope to others suffering. That despite what you have been through, you can find peace and love. This story needs to be made as a movie or tv show!
From the moment i picked the book up I wanted to know more of what was going on. When reading I laughed in remembering times in (Frederick) and then I cried when knowing the so many things she went through. I admire her strength and the women she has become today. This is a must read!!
This book was very inspiring! I could relate to Renee's character on so many levels and a lot of what she went through really hit home to me. I couldn't put the book down; I had to know what she was going to do next or how would she get herself out of the different situations. Reading this showed me that some of the issues we go through as women are so common and we are more alike than we are different.
This book was so hard to put down! This book is a true testimony of what transformation looks like! After all of the experiences and heartache that Renee endured; She could have become bitter, angry and hateful but instead, she took all of those painful experiences and turned them into love and compassion for people. Her story truly inspires me and is a testimony of what God can do in anyones life, regardless of what our past may look like. I am so thankful that Sonya was sensitive and obedient to the voice of God and chose to share her story. I think that most women of all ages can find a piece of Renee's story and relate and find it empowering. Thank you for being so brave and speaking out!
I've had this book for 2 weeks before I actually picked it up and read it. I am going to say allot yourself some alone time because once you pick it up you will NOT put it down. It is a page turner... If you are looking for a good read, it is definitely one that is at the TOP of my recommendation list. While reading her story, you are given a clear picture of what was going on in her life. She has had to endure so much that it's truly amazing that she has been able to open up and share with her readers. If you've ever experienced a difficult time in life and wondered how you could get through it, READ THIS BOOK!! It is heartfelt and is TRULY inspiring to anyone that reads it. This book is sure to hit the BEST SELLERS LIST!!! 😊

WOW!! Phenomenal read!! I couldn't put it down!! I was so happy to receive the package because I had been expecting it! I opened it and immediately read it from cover to cover. This book was a rollercoaster ride!! I had different emotions as Sonya so beautifully and colorfully chauffeured me on a journey down a road that was familiar at times but sometimes made me cringe, smile and extremely angry!! I just wanna hug you Sonya and never let go !! I love you I love your book!! Thank you for sharing this story. Thank you for being an inspiration. Forgiven but Never Forgotten is powerfully poignant. As soon as I began reading it, I could not put it down! Mrs. Johnson's story is one of heartache, heartbreak, pain, suffering, betrayal, and turmoil. From abusive relationships, to dealing with not so good men, to miscarriages, to the death of a friend, she goes through a plethora of emotions and pain. There were moments when I cried, shook my head, and placed the book down because I could not believe that certain situations transpired. I sympathized and empathized with the main character throughout the book. Although this book takes the reader on an emotional rollercoaster, the silver lining is that in the end, she restores her faith and trust in God. In spite of all the trials and tribulations, obstacles and challenges she endured, in the end of the book, she triumphs! She takes back the pain and realizes her self-worth and confidence, and that is incredibly beautiful indeed. Despite the failed relationships, today, she is happily married and serves as a motivational speaker, sharing her story with the world, especially those who are and have endured abusive relationships. This book is a MUST READ!
